Analysis of Feedback

From reviewing the feedback given from the audience, it seems that people do not want change, even people who did not do media, understood the ways in which a certain song from a particular genre should look, for example, when asking about pop songs, they said that they would expect it to be a very fast paced music video due to the speed of the lyrics. The people that also took the questionnaire said that they would expect a pop video to be in in a studio or at a party with the person in a lot of name brand clothing. The audience research also showed that the pop song needed to have an upbeat story, or at least a resolution towards the end, they noted it could be humorous and should be high key lighting. Some people also stated that they would expect multiple people in the narrative and that even in the main performance, that they would rather a group than a single person.

So by looking at the information gathered, it is clear that the audience knows what it wants from a music video, and that in order to produce a good product, we need to follow the conventions of the chosen genre, so that the audience can relate to it and understand it more clearly.
