Critical Comparisons

Pre-Productive Planning

When comparing this product to the previous units, I feel as though I have learnt a lot, for example, when planning the idents although there was a lot of time taken to plan them and think of ideas, it wasn’t as well thought out as the Titus Andronicus filming, this is for many reasons. A few of these key reasons are that with the Titus play, it wasn’t just me, I had other students working on the project with me, by having this it meant together, we could come up with better ideas and when we did have an idea, we could then look for ways to improve it.

Attitude/Approach

The approach I took to this project was a lot better then previous projects I had done due to the fact that it was a lot  stricter as we had to follow a brief and had people relying more on us. I was working with other people in the group, which was good as we could discuss our ideas with one another and make improvements together, also it spread out the roles so I could stay more focused on my assigned topic which meant I had more time to make it better than if I had taken on all the roles.

Scale

The scale of this project was much larger compared to previous years, this project took a lot more time, and also felt more important. Because their was so much more planning going into this and we also had to work with people we had never even met before, it felt a lot bigger and something I have never experienced before.

Editing

With the editing we took a different approach you would expect at the start, instead of all focusing on one version, we broke of and did are own individual edits, they was then shown to the other members and we picked aspects from each version, and then put them into a final product which we thought looked the best.
